I got a lovely surprise form my friend who I mentioned on another thread lost her little cavalier at 11 months, hust three months ago.

She did an oil painting of My Godlen Oldie Ludmilla , who some of you will remember went to the Bridge in March this year and is missed so much.

I am absolutely delighted with it. what a wonderful tribute to my lovely girl and how kind and thoughful on the part of my friend.

Thought I'd share it with all of you.

I seem to recall this is not the first painting of your lovely hounds that you have received. You are lucky to have such a talented and generous friend who does these and gives them to you!

Thanks Skunkstripe. You are right that it is the second painting of my sighthounds, but the first one I commissioned someone to do and I paid a lot of money for it and to be honest this one which my friend did as a gift for me is , in my opinion, every bit as good as the one I commissioned.

Ithik perhaps you are getting this mixed up with another friend of mine who made a cusion with pictures of Ludmilla on it for me as a gift and I posted pics of it on here.
