Help Identify my Brother's Dog!

My brother adopted this dog from the humane society recently. They said it was a heeler mix. He's about 9 months old and seems to have limitless energy. He chews A LOT! has eaten through quite a number of toys and has completely destroyed several nylabones in a matter of hours. He met Kiyashi a week ago, and they sort of played in the back yard for a bit, then Pablo turned and decided he needed to try to kill Kiyashi. Would have been almost funny if this little 20 lb dog hadn't been so intent on hurting my 70lb akita.

OOOOoo Id say he looks very Jack Russel like. But he has spots so cant figure that one.

I see some terrier in the dog too. JRT was my first inclination but the traits that aren't JRT-like, are pretty non-descriptive of other breeds.

I too see JRT in looks. Not sure what he could be crossed with though.

I see cattledog x jack russell as well. You'd be surprised at the way cattle dog spots show up on some dogs.

I think the JRT mixed with Heeler might be that size and look like that.

he also looks like a tad shiba but with russel nose...

problem is that when a dog is like 4-5 breeds or more they usualy end up looking like dogs that isnt even in them... so.. hard to tell...

I saw a shar pei rottie german shepherd mix that looked like a dober/ridgeback so... It can be really hard..

Hard to say, he looks purebred mutt to me. :) He's very adorable!
