If you can help please contact me thru pm/email Thanks!

Three years ago this handsome boy showed up at a Rowan County family's home; he adopted them with all his heart. He made himself the personal guardian of this couple and their kids. Everyday he walked with the kids to the bus. Every day he patiently waited for the bus to return and then he made sure they got safely to the door. When strangers showed up, or the kids played with the neighbors, he patiently stood guard.

Two weeks ago the unthinkable happened, at least the unthinkable in my heart, but not in the hearts of this family. They moved. And they abandoned him. They left him alone after he so obviously and completely loved and guarded them. They left him alone. He is waiting, waiting at an abandoned house for people who will not come back for him. EVERY DAY HE MEETS THE BUS WAITING FOR HIS KIDS TO GET OFF. Every day he waits.

PLEASE, let's get him into a home quickly. You know what will happen if a big, black stray goes to the pound....hurry. And I hope you have kids for him to love.

Thats Awesome. What touched me about this dog.. is that my Aunt in Ga has a BIG Black Dog.. "Buddy" that did/does the SAME THING! He wondered into there yard, and just hung out there for a cpl weeks.. and they fed him, and thought maybe he would go back home. He didn't. So, they kept him. They live on 3acres backed to a creek. Well, I lived there for a year.. and me and my 2 younger cousins would walk to the bus stop every day at 5:30am, and Buddy went with us. And Sometimes he was there when we got off the bus, Sometimes he went to visit his doggy friend at the trailor park up the road. But, he always made it home. *they didnt have a fenced yard* But.. Now, we aren't sure how old he is. But, he is Dying. :-( I found out last week he has bone cancer, and has had it some time. They are doing what they can to keep him comfy, But it doesn't look too good. So, Hubby and I are trying to make a trip up there so I can see him before we say goodbye to this loyal Black Mystery Dog!
