Saving Furry Friends

If you can help please contact me thru pm/email Thanks!
Three years ago this handsome boy showed up at a Rowan County family's home; he adopted them with all his heart. He made himself the personal guardian of this couple and their kids. Everyday he walked with the kids to the bus. Every day he patiently waited for the bus to return and then he made sure they got safely to the door. When strangers showed up, or the kids played with the neighbors, he patiently stood guard.
Two weeks ago the unthinkable happened, at least the unthinkable in my heart, but not in the hearts of this family. They moved. And they abandoned him. They left him alone after he so obviously and completely loved and guarded them. They left him alone. He is waiting, waiting at an abandoned house for people who will not come back for him. EVERY DAY HE MEETS THE BUS WAITING FOR HIS KIDS TO GET OFF. Every day he waits.
PLEASE, let's get him into a home quickly. You know what will happen if a big, black stray goes to the pound....hurry. And I hope you have kids for him to love.
