Would like some input on Natural Choice dogfood (wet and dry). I was in petco the other day nosing through all the foods (i know petco really isn't the best place to buy dogfood..) but there was one brand called Natural Choice that has no "by-product" listed, not using corn as a filler and it seemed ok overall. It's not "expensive" by any means but it's on the higher end of the "cheap" stuff...one of the more expensive foods that petco sells.

I have fed my pups Natural Choice and the only input I can provide is that they are healthy and their weight gain is appropiate to their size and they enjoy what they eat.

My adults will feed on Cannadae, I don't know if this helps.

It's okay. Some formulas are better than others. Some of the reasons I don't like it are soybean oil, "poultry" fat, and menadione. It also has more grains than some comparable products.

Good foods at Petco (but not carried at every Petco) include Sensible Choice, Natural Balance, Solid Gold, and Castor & Pollux.

I know nothing about the canned food.
