A friend of mine just called. And someone she knows has 2 Female Aussies Both Females. Outdoor Dogs.. 10 yrs old. She needs to find them a home before Sun.. or they will be PTS. She is moving and can't take them with her. One is a Blue merle her name is Mika, and the Red Merle names Marly. They are on The Florida Aussie website. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=9172010

She would prefer them to go together, but at this point.. someone to take them even if split up will be ok. If I can't find anyone.. My friend would take them in, But only for a cpl days... As in her Apt she is only alowed to have 2 pets.. and she has a cat, and a GSD already.

So, Any help would be appreciated. LET ME KNOW! We need Foster or Perm Homes for these poor girls

I wish there was something that I could do but I am too far away. We just found our other foster a wonderful home and now have room for more fosters but I'm afraid that transportation would be a big issue since it is so far away. Any rescues in the area?

This might help some. This would be the best route to take according to mapquest.
I did get some replies on the other forum but it's only from one end of colorado to me. I guess that's a start right?

There is a transport Train thing on Dogster someone on the other forum recommended me to, So I posted there as well.. so we will see what we come up with. But, My end has changed.. I can't do any driving. My Nurse told me today I have to stay off it. I am not even allowed to sit for long periods of time.. :-(

It would be nice for them if they could find a home or rescue closer to where they are at now. I'm sure that a transport this far would be traumatic for senior dogs but if it can be worked out I am still willing to bring them here. So far I only have offers for transport from the north end of Colorado to the south end where I am at. Dogster is a great idea since essentially that is how Morgan was saved maybe the same thing can be done for these two.

I just got off the phone with the owner of the two dogs and she told me that they have found someone locally that is going to foster them. YAY!!! So all that is needed for them now is to find a forever home. I told her that I'm sure a few of us on here will look for them and see what we can do to help them find a forever home.

Here is the website for ARPH (An Aussie rescue network) in Florida

Have your friend give them a call ... since they are an owner surrender these dogs shouldn't have a problem finding a great home. Someone will foster them till the right person or persons can be found. Especially if the owner wants these to dogs to go into a home together.
