What kind of dog do I have?

Hopefully there is a photo of puppy we saved. Would like to know what kind of dog she is (Sue) so we can assist her happy life.

Hi,

I think she is about 7 to 9 months old and her weight approximately 30 to 35 lbs.

She is a gift and we love her although it is clear she has been abused. We have had her ten days and have done alot of research on this issue. We are going slow with her building trust and doing alot of laying on the ground next to her so she feels safe. Any idea of what type, how big she will get and whether she likes water, etc? I have gotten her all the possible chews, food, and training materials that exist!

I see more doberman than rotty, their markings are similar but she looks a little to slender to me. Rotties, even their mixes are usually built with shorter legs and broad chests. She is beautiful, congratulations and thank you for the rescue.

NOt a great photo but I have been told that her face looks like a hound in that jowls slack at base. Her legs are long and slender so maybe some dobie. No matter what "breed", she is great and her temperment is very good. WIll explore her hobbies as we go along! Cat is adjusting....

I would have to say a Doberman cross, possibly a German Shepherd. I have seen that cross before and your dog looks alot like a Dobe/Shep.

Yeah the nose being rounded and shorter is definitely a shepard. I would guess Dobie/Shep. What a beautiful dog. I too am curious as too the lineage of my pup but i get told different stuff all the time lol so sometimes we'll never know.

I see the doberman but the legs and nose are similar to what our dog is like (she's supposed to be a lab / border collie mix).
