Guess my breed!

ok its been bothering me, lol i just cant pin point what Jengo is, i know he is part dachshund, but what else is in there? heres what i have come up with for possibilities...

Beagle
Viszla
terrier of some kind

what do you guys think? he is 23 lbs at 10-11 months old i dont see him getting any bigger maybe just filling out more, hes about 12-14 inches tall and about 24 inches long from nose to base of tail.

so what do you think he is ?

welll something that is red nosed... wich make me thing of pitbull or novia scott duck tolling retriver or if it is reversed on the words...

I am not too familiar with other red nosed doggies..

Alot of LAB for certain, see no Dashound at all. Long ears, face and body like a Lab. Nice dog whatever.?? :D

There's quite a bit of Vizsla there for sure. Coloring, body type, length of neck, and length and shape of ears are Vizsla, though the head appears broader than a Vizsla would normally be and the nose should be a deeper brown. Eye color is ideal for a Vizsla of his coloring.

The broader head, longer body and appearance of somewhat shorter legs could be lab influence.

lol i guess i should have put a better pic for his leg shots, he is not a big dog, like i said he is 23 lbs and full grown, he def is part doxie, no doubt on that part, his legs are much shorter than that pic makes them look... heres a better one

that was my first thoughts as well, when we got him, but something about him just makes me think beagle, maybe its his bark, or how his nose never leaves the ground... lol

Lots of the sporting breed group use their noses. All those breeds used for hunting have great noses. He's adorable whatever his breeds.

The first two photos and the last ones don't even look like the same dog.:D

My guess would be the same based on the first two photos and not knowing his actual size. But the newest information forces me to take back every world of it!:o:D Now I'd say mostly doxie!

By the way, for anyone that's interested; scent hounds work with their noses low to the ground making use of existing ground scent, hunting dogs while hunting work with their heads high making use of airborne scents! Most of them are versatile enough that they can learn to also use ground scent such as in SR work.;)

He's a Vizla with Daxie legs! These pics are totally deceptive. You see the first photos and think vizla, bigger breed anyway, then you see his cute wee legs! His long thin stomach is daxie too.
What an unusual cross he is, but incredibly gorgeous.

I would say Dach, Vizsla, and MAYBE Basset.. Basset have little chubby legs like that. And he DEFENTLY has Viszla eyes and face!

He looks like he got more of a Beagle head and the the Dashund body. Sure is cute though :D

I agree with the Vizsla votes. His nose, eyes, coloring, and head shape look A LOT like a Vizsla!! I like his stubby legs! Cute :D

I say he's a Vizslas and Dach. He kind of has a Daxie, but he's still cute!

Definitly Vizula as you said, perhaps some lab as well, I wouldn't say there was dach in there myself, but I can almost see a bit of beagle in the face. But looks like mostly Vizula.

When i seen some pics of him standing i thought he looked like a Basset Hound for sure, So basset hound X Vizla is my final guess :D
