Hello again everyone
I haven't been on here for a while but I turned to you all when I needed help and support last year. After having the terrible news that my beautiful Boxer dog was terminally ill and only had a short while left with us. I was told it would only be 4-8mths probably 4mths because he'd had an Insulinoma of the pancreas for about a year already. I asked you all for help and advice and you gave me lots of it willingly. Especially Brunosmom she was fantanstic with her research for special food and medical the help that was available to us so thank you Jan and all the others that helped at that time. Well unfortunatley George went over the bridge on 7-7-07 He'd acutually had 11mths with us a lot longer than anyone thought. He amazed our vet 'what a fighter he was' !!! George went very peacefully we timed the euthenasia just right he had very little of the painful and really awful effects that this condition is known for. I'm only just coming to terms with the loss of my very special furry child the loneliness is still terrible but popping in and out of the forum as kept me sane for the past few months although I just couldnt bring myself to speak to you all about it but now i feel i can so if anyone needs adivse on how to deal with this horrible illness just ask I learnt loads over the months and again
Thank you all very much
Rest In Peace George
