Sorry, no Giant here, but oh how beautiful yours is! I am a Groomer and was just talking about how I wish someone would call with a giant needing a clip. We just don't see this breed in my area. Would love to see more pics of yours!!!!!:)

Hi Paula, My name is Tammy. I'd love to see some pics of Max, looks like you and I are the only giant owners on this forum. Caesar has a soft coat also. He's 10 months old, and a big baby. He does this thing with his food before he eats, he rubs his nose across the floor around his dish, looks like he trying to cover up his food. Does Max ever do this? When we had a mini schnauzer she did the same thing. Must be a schnauzer thing.

Hi Tammy, Max is the only giant in our town and we are always being asked what breed he. He can be a devil at times but the older he gets the calmer he gets apart from when visitors come. He will gets so excited and just wants their attention. Tried every training method to no avail. Once the first 10mins are over he lies there quite contented. On saying that when the grandchildren come to stay he is so good and has never ever ben rough with them. Just wants to be at their side and join in their games.
At present he has a lump on nape of his neck which will not go away if you touch it appears to burst so he is off to the vets tomorrow. He lets you touch it and clean and does not seem to hurt him. Will find out tomorrow what the problem is.

Hi Paula, We are still in training with Caesar, working on social skills. Everyday I try to take him uptown for a walk so he's around people. I got him when he was six months old, so he had no social life, but he's doing alot better now. They can be very protective. If i had to do it over I would have purchased a 7 week old pup instead. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. I love him to death. I can't imagine my like without him. I hope everything goes ok with Max tommorrow at the vet. Keep me updated. Sure is nice chatting with you. I'd love to see a picture of Max. Take Care, Tammy:)
