OK will post it now :D
Shortbread cookies.
2 cup flour
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup berry /fruit sugar ( this is a fine sugar but not icing sugar, you can use regular)
In bowl, beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy. (Reserve some flour for rolling on board.) Add flour slowly; beat until blended.
Between 2 sheets of waxed paper or on a floured board, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using a shaped cookie cutter, cut out cookies. Place on parchment paper-lined or ungreased rimless baking sheets. You can sprinkle with soem coloured sugar or prick with a fork in the middle to add design.
Bake in 300 F oven for 22 to 25 minutes or until firm to the touch and slightly golden.
(Make Ahead: Layer between waxed paper in airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 weeks.).

Here's a lower fat/suger baking tip that's tasty. I made oatmeal cookies, and wanted to cut the suger, I found Splenda made brown suger. News flash to me. Gave it the right taste. Also used 1/2 the amount of oil and substitute applesauce for the other half. Of course I add choc chips to mine, but people still loved em, some couldn't tell the difference. You still get great taste, & people who need suger free (you'd have to skip choc chips or use suger free chocolate) can still enjoy.

not sure what to call them just something that my mom passed down to me that she probably got from a campbell's label lol but they are kinda smothered burritos they are a huge hit in my house and everyone that I make them for as well.
2lbs ground beef (or one depending on how many you want to make you can cut the recipe in half)
2 packages of lawry's burrito seasoning
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can diced green chilli's (hot or mild dependent on taste)
1 package of shredded cheddar or mexican blend cheese
1 package of tortillas
Brown ground beef into crumbles. Drain grease and add burrito seasonings. While you are waiting on the seasoning to cook into the ground beef open both cans of cream of mushroom soup and add 1 can of water and 1 can of milk. Stir in green chilli's to taste ( I use the whole can) When the ground beef is ready warm tortillas (to keep them from breaking) and wrap the meat inside the tortillas. Place them in a deep oven safe baking dish and pour the soup with the green chilli's over the burritos evenly. Cover with cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350 or until the cheese is bubbling.
I like to serve them with the option to place lettuce, sour cream and picante sauce on top. This recipe serves my whole family and makes about 10 - 12 burritos.

OK now I'm looking for a recipe. Anyone out there Help!
Made it a few times, lost recipe, forgot about it & was looking recently.
Baked cauliflower cassarole.
It's made by mixing a bit of curry & mayo, and chedder cheese. All coating the flowers and had croutons too. Sounds weird, if I would have know what it was, I wouldn't have tried it (at a church potlock) thought it was just a chedder sauce. It's so yummy. Just can't remember the measurements. :cheff:

No, but it's close. Mine had no soup or parmesan and and croutons instead of crackers, maybe the person who made it modified it themselves from this recipe. I'll play with it. Must go to store tomorrow.:D

Made a good one last night...
Hamburger Pie
1lb hamburger
1 medium onion chopped
1/2 green pepper chopped
1 can corn ( drained )
1 can crushed tomatoes
2 Garlic cloves crushed
1 tablespoon Chili Powder
salt to taste
6 slices of bread ( I used white )
Brown hamburger breaking up with fork, add onions and green pepper and cook with hamburger ( drain fat off cooked hamburger if need be ). Add garlic, corn , and chili powder, tomatoes and salt. Cook for 5-10 minutes to reduce the liquid.
Take a lasangna pan and add mixture to pan, butter the tops of the bread and place over the mixture butter side up, place in a 350 degree oven and cook for 30-35 minutes OR until bread has toasted.
You could use a mashed potato topping or a biscuit topping. You can also add Jalapenos for heat or spice it up with cayenne pepper. This is a recipe you can fool with easily to make it more to your liking.

Mark & my grandmother are big meatloaf lovers. So, I went on a hunt to find a good recipe that I'd like too. After many other attempts that I found to be just another boring meatloaf, I found this one & everybody loves it (including me).
Good Eats Meatloaf (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_10215,00.html)
(I double the amount of cayenne — shhh, don't tell granny — and also double the glaze & save some for "on the side").
With this recipe, I even love meatloaf.
