Why not a forum where we can write where we have stayed and policies about pets etc... a lot of people like to be able to take their dogs with them on vacation and at times not all info is accessable throughout internet. Also if there is bad and good experiences etc..
Things that can enrich the lives for us dogowners..
I know for ex a restaurant here in richmond that allow us to have the dogs on the pateo while eating.
Little thing of that sort..
just a thought...

My Partner and I went away with Drake and Meika for the first time a few months ago...
We rented a house that was pet friendly that we found on the net...
We were told that the backyard was FULLY enclosed and perfectly safe for pets...
When we got down there we found many many holes in the fences and after letting Drake and Meika out for only 10 minutes in the backyard they were COVERED in ticks!
I think taking your pets away with you is great!
Just make sure you do lots of research about where you are staying and if possible take a trip to see it for yourself before the holiday (photos often lie)
What was ment to be a relaxing time away ended up being quiet stressful and I could have lost the dogs!

This is a great idea.
My favorite site for finding Dog Friendly places is http://www.dogfriendly.com It helped me plan my cross-country trip with 4 dogs. :)
