I know they say this is a mental illness but this is out of hand. How could a person not realize this is wrong ?

A woman, 65-year-old Barbara C. Munrow of Lee County pleaded not guilty to 10 misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and not caring for her pets after authorities found over 200 dead animals on her property including cats, dogs, and birds.

She was held in Lee County Jail on $35,000 bond and stated on Monday that she did nothing wrong.
According to the state attorney Paul Whitcombe, Munroe's house had a terrible odor of "ammonia, decaying flesh and feces."

300 animals were alive on the property with 160 cats, 105 dogs, and 35 birds. There were also 200 other dead cats and two dead dogs found.

It is an addiction or illness they need alot of help. Mental of course to starve animals and let lay. Sick whatever. Such a pity our animals.

That's disgusting, over 200 dead ones :( well I hope they are at peace now.

This is so hard to understand.:( What's worse is when hoarders are just getting started, have people notice/complain, but nothing is done!My town went without an animal control officer for over 3 yrs!
