Well, she has been shredding more stuff but... I take responsibility for that, one, to put it within reach, two, not been able to exercise her properly. Today is going to be the first long walk for this week. (for those who wonder why she's been neglected on that part Ive had a UTI that reached my only kidney and have been very sick and in hospital yesterday was the first day my pain was almost gone in the kidney)

BUT, she is making progress. She is learning to relax despite me moving around in the room. Prior she always got restless and whiny/barky. She nows go to sleep emidate at night when someone lies down in the bed, prior she tried to bite feet, fingers and demanding attention despite having snuggle time before dinner (we turn them out, snuggle them, feed them, sleeptime).
Now we just put her under the blankie and she goes prompt to sleep, even if I am still up working and only bf is asleep. Here is the kicker, she dont even whine when I walk around/leave the room/or when I go to bed. She just looks at me and then back to sleep prior she whined if you took a deep breath.

She is getting better with her nipping and jumping period, everyone in the household (7 people) are animal lovers and everyone turn their back on her as soon as she goes roughy, nippy, jumpy so she sits for the most of it.

She can see the cat now without barking her HEAD OFF, a week and a half ago she couldnt even hear the catbell downstairs without starting some ruckus.

She answers very well to consistensy and praise so Ill be getting a clicker here soon.

Overall she is a very good dog, she can't be totally alone yet, but I can leave her with either dog, Tasha or armand (the houseowners little doggie), so I can switch wich dog Im taking out cause he rather spends time with my doggies when they are home alone than out in the house that is empty wich I can understand. that also gives me oppurtunity to give dogs indivudal time wich I like a lot.

So overall she has done a very fast improvement, now we only need to learn to HOLD it longer in the morning. For once she did not wake me up 7.45 as she usually do but 9.45 so it's getting there... If Id gone to sleep my regular time I would have got 8 hours of sleep, boss kept me up to 6 am though, big launch this weekend. *sighs* but she's getting there...

I'm very proud over my little wild Bull...

AND I'm proud of Old grumpy Tasha.. She's in heat now and still, she just REFUSE to go angry at Missy, she puts clear bounderies, but even SHE ignores Missy when Missy go wild. I have never seen her have so much patience with any other young dog. It's weird.. My old dog is prolly getting old, or she has learnt that go angry at a pitbull just causes problem so now she just say.. buss off I don't care... but Im glad.. It seems like I finally have the pitbull Ive dreamt off, tons of energy and DOGFRIENDLY! :)

Great job - so much easier when everybody in the household can be consistent :)

Hey Monkey that is great! Glad to hear that Tasha is being so good to Missy! But I amazed that you can get a household of seven dog-savvy humans together! That's something you don't see that very often. :p

Thanks guys..

skunk well it's not like they are savvy savvy, BUT, they do as what Ive asked of them. and when they see the result in her, they be even more prone to do what I ask of them. A lot of times problem with household is that other people don't respect the one person setting up the basic rules. All people here are very intelligent people and very conciderate. Makes things easier.

Well Jan, I am not gonna say that I am home safe yet, she is a stray and I have no clue what her baggage is. I am rather prepared for the worst cause then I can only be happily surprised. A lot of strays and rescues get a phase a few month after being rehomed where they start to act out, all of a sudden they dare cause you have built up their confidence and the previous more low key behaviour was them making sure not to get beat up. and they dare to test the boundires more.. Hence I am trying to reinforce all good things NOW and keep it on the consistent level to ease all transactions possible.

But so far so good, she is a great doggie and I have got a lot for free, that is including eating blinds and baseball cards ;)

Yet again has she made progress, not enourmus steps but, tiny ones but they are clearly visible. Yeah she did eat my make up last night but again my fault. The days I give her the proper exercise, she rest good when Im gone, the days I go stressy and not have enough time for a good 2 hour walk, yeah I do loose something.

BUT, what I thought was a possible fear aggression, is her roughousing.
She did it again the other night, she turns into what I call: snappy gator.. cause she jerks around with increndeble speed and snap, if your arm or something else is between her teeth it will hurt, bruise and depending on how she bites down draw blood.

BUT this morning I got a quick glance at her expression when she did it, she was showing maximum eyewhite and ears SLICKED back (she was doing nice face Im not dangerous), so I yelleped and she stopped totally perplexed.
Then when she started nipping at me, I yellped again, as soon as she just touched my clothes with a mouthy behaviour I yellped and she stops. Now when she goes for my figners she does it so soft and trying to be carefull and I still yelpp she has no clue what's going on BUT she is respecting the high pitch sound wich Im very greatfull for.

Hopefully this can help her learn to roughhouse with limits.

I'm awfully proud of her... Ohh and in about two weeks we start basic obediance class. I wanna train her around other dogs for the disturbance oppurtunity. YAY! :)

Ohh and I forgot to mention, Missy is so cute, she lets Tasha steal her chewies. It's amazing a pitbull without resource guard behaviour. I know Max didnt have it eithe rbut I thought that was a male female thing but no, Missy don't either. Fun part is.. Missy don't like the chewies when they are too saggy, and Tasha don't like em too hard, so I let Missy start one up, when it's saggy I let Tasha take it and give Missy a new one :)
