Ahhhhhhh, beautiful dogs. I'd love to hear more about them. They aren't very common here.

English pointers are very handsome dogs. But I don't know much about pointers except for the pointer mix my mom had when I was young.

Honey the only way I can help as they are kinda scarce here is to look. They are elegant dogs that are bird hunters or assist the person hunting. I watch a late show about hunting and watch them, they point and never move a muscle. Nice dogs.

English Pointer
The English Pointer is bred primarily for hunting, and therefore should unmistakably look and act the part. These dogs are compacted with power, showing agility and grace while at work and at play. English Pointers are strongly built, muscular, medium to large-sized dogs, demonstrating an athletic talent. English Pointers posses the natural ability and substance to hunt game for many hours.http://www.dovehunt.com/images/bird_dogs/pointer.jpg The most distinguishing characteristics of the English Pointer is its thick, bold, stocky frame. English Pointers are intelligent, good tempered, affectionate dogs, making them the perfect companions for the home. The most important aspect of this dog is its power, balance, and movement. These characteristics show his ability to be a wide-awake, hard-working, hunter. You can call these dogs a true friend, because of the loyalty they will show to you and to their work.

English Pointers, overall, are a very energetic, active breed. Because of their naturally high energy level, most require a large amount of intense exercise to keep the dog in top hunting shape.

I'm pretty sure this is a mix as he is pretty small for 1. Not sure what he's mixed with though. All coloring emulates that of an English Pointer but this guy can't weigh more than 30 lbs. Here's a pic I just scanned, hope you guys can see it. I think you may have to copy and paste the url.

well even if he is mixed that is a great breed of dog for temperment. It is an elegant dog that does require lots of exercise but that can be fun running them in fields. Good luck, I could not open that but send some, take new ones of him.:D

I'm a bit late to the topic, but I own an English Pointer (Casey). She's my first pointer, but will not be my last. They're an amazing breed to own.
