While it's a good idea I think there are plenty of sections now. There's quite a bit of sections already. Adding too many more would just make the forum cluttered. Just my opinion, though. :)

Something does need to be done to reduce the increasing clutter in the General dog discussions. Perhaps dividing it up into sections would help.

While you're at it how about considering dividing the Off Topic section too?
Games and contests, Personal and News items would be a few suggestions for there.

Hmmm ... One person's clutter is another person's interesting topic or share that other members might find of interest. I personally like the diversity & if every thread was "all business" and no fun, I think most would be bored. I'd just like to see them organized so things are easier to find (&/or avoid, if applicable to certain members).

I'd like to see the games separated out too.

I agree with you on that one, Katz. I personally don't see any clutter. As long as it's dog related, it's not clutter, IMO.

Maybe we can have a "Serious Dog Discussions" section - which would include all of the subforums you requested? It would also include recalls, dog news items, etc. That way those who are annoyed by the others have "clutter" can stick to the serious discussions if they wish to.

I just think adding 3-4 new subforums to the 10++ we already have is a bit much. I also think combining some of the related subjects together may be a good idea. Such as Dog Food And Nutrition, Dog Healthcare, Dog Grooming. In my opinion, those all fall under Dog Healthcare and would make the forum look more put together.

As for Off Topic area, I think adding a forum for all forum games is a good idea.

Usually, I'm turned away by forums with so many sections, but this one just sucked me in. ;)

The General Dog Dis. does need to be seperated into sections, it is full.
