This could very easily happen to my dogs, since we are out hiking a LOT. And I don't mind folks hunting or trapping, but boy, this time of year I make mine wear dayglo colored vests and I wear bright colors so we don't get mistaken for wildlife. Still, this shouldn't have happened to this poor dog! :mad:
While walking around a pond on the backside of the mountain, Prichard said he started hearing some "serious barking — screaming, basically" from his dog, Scaredly, an Australian cattle dog and border collie mix. When he got to his dog, he found a metal trap on her paw.

That trap is REALLY hard to see!
