Hi and Welcome to the Dog Forum If I forgot to do so.
Lets go on Rottys, I had one, did not breed them, but he was a sweetheart. Nice red n black male neutered. Had to have a days trip to hunt for an hour, jumped our near six foot high fence only to return when done. He was a great hunter, brought home deskunked skunks with much pride, we would run out and he looked at us like: Look what I brought for ya all? It was alive and no spray left. A great groundhog hunter, somehow he never killed them but dragged all home. He was a thief also, bringing neighbors party favors and decos home, tennis shoes I had to call and return. Sweet breed.

Hiya rottyluva......I have a Rotti mix. I do believe him to be the most gentle dog I have owned as far as family is concerned but I also see his protectiveness if a stranger is near. Would love to see pictures of your Rotties when you get a chance

Great pictures!!! I love big blocky squishy wrinkled heads!!!! Is that Bella in the first pic on post #10? She seems to have the longer hair type...I've heard this comes more from the German blood lines. Hey if you have more pictures of the 'tails" I'd love to see them as that is a scarce sight in the US
info for signatures :)

there great with kids 2 which is very important!some security places here train rotty to be very savigage!i have seen so many pics of the rottis with there mouths wide open etc!the aggresive look doesnt suit the rottweiler breed in my appoion!so i gather rottweilers aint that popular in other contreys?

I have one single purpose drug detector Rottie. he can be seen at www.gapdogs.org (http://www.gapdogs.org)
His name is Rock. Click on the link that says Gap Dogs at Work. All the dogs on that page are rescues by the GAP Program.

I've had Rottweilers all my life. Our last one, Echo, was an incredible dog and one of the best dogs my family has ever had. The one before her was a really great girl as well. We had a male before those two as well and he could have been a great dog, but was terribly abused before we got him and my parents couldn't trust him around my brother or I (we were really young). Our current Rottie is Morgan. We adopted her from rescue. She is a very poor tempered dog. We knew that when we got her, but thought since she was young, that with lots of socializing and training and such that she'd get better. She's just gotten worse with age for some reason though. We still like her, and its definitely not her fault (or ours) that she is the way she is. It all comes down to very poor breeding I'm sure as she was never in a bad home. She's certainly not at all what a Rottweiler should be though and isn't suited to our family at all (or anyone else really, for that matter).
Anyhow, here's a picture of Morgan:

They actually are pretty popular where I live. In fact, I see just as many Rottweilers as I do Labs and designer mixes.

she looks like a cross between a long nosed breed
if she is a very unstable dog there is methods that u can go to to help her temprament but it will cost money and time!
just love her and stuff:p

She seems to have the longer hair type...I've heard this comes more from the German blood lines.
Not really :)
There is a heavier coat, which is broadly considered to be a European type coat, but it's not the same as a long coat, it's really just thicker moreso than longer. This is probably what you have heard about.
A long coat in the Rottweiler is a disqualification fault, it's often more a result of poor breeding than anything else.

Gorgeous Rottys you have, they are highly intelligent, made for guard dogs. In Germany they pull the milk carts on farms. I love this breed but cannot keep all the ones I like alot. This would be one however, good luck with your nice dogs. Enjoy.....:)
