German Shepherd pups wanted

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a german shepherd, i was wondering if anyone knows of any reptuable breeders. My dad used to have one a long time ago and now he is retired he wants another one as he has more time and has experience of handling GSD. Does anyone know of anyone UK based?

Sheplovr is having some puppies,soon but i don't know if they are all spoken!.She probably could also advise you on who to ask!.

I don'tknow of a breeder in the UK off hand,but would suggest you visit some local shows and the GSD rings and speak to the exhibitors who should be able to point you in the right direction.

Do remember that there are hip problems with the GSD and make sure you get a dog who 's breeder has health tested and hip scored the parents.

btw Sheplov'r has lovely puppies but she is in the USA

Is it possible for you to look at the local shelters/rescue centres for a GSD? :) They always have great dogs that are just waiting for a perfect home!

Here is a UK super breeder, do not know just where they are but u can look them up. They have excellent Shepherds, David owner is a judge of Shutzhund, etc. High priced I would say so but u get what u pay for there also. http://www.videxgsd.com/

Oh yes, GSD's are one of the most common breed of dog in rescue centres!
