I have a confession to make...

I'm in love.

I feel this breed is gaining popularity and I've been working around a lot of them...meeting a lot of them. I find myself today looking at breeders and pictures and information. I've never absolutely fallen in love with a breed, I love all breeds, but these guys are just incredible. Now I'm not running out tomorrow and getting one, and I need another dog like I need a hole in my head, but I just had to get it off my chest that I'm in love.

Anyone care to guess what breed it is?

Honey are you ready to do some real exercise in getting into the Terrier group? I mean a good daily routine of work, running, maybe jogging, I had a Boston that if he did not get out it was like all H_ _ _ broke out!! Cute little dogs if u want a small dog, not much grooming, etc. Smart to teach the tunnels inground also. That looks like fun but alot of work teaching them I would guess. Let us know if you do in fact get one and post up photos there is a photo thread. Take care down in nice Flordia. Wishful thinking here, used to fly down 3 times a year for time outs to rest, soak up the sun, I am a sun freak, have tan bed but that gets boring. Love the beaches there.:cheers:

My immediate thought was JRT, then Chihuahua, then I thought it kind of looks like the little dog in Katz n k9's photo of Ozzy when she said he was playing with a rat terrier so maybe that. So no idea really, but it is cute :D.
BTW has anyone seem Katz around lately?

Okay okay, agility and happysaz are right, it's a rat terrier. ;) I love these little guys! And exactly what I posted too-a white and chocolate tri with a white blaze...so pretty!

Aww, Areias, I'm in love too! :) Newfoundland dogs have stolen my heart, LOL. I met a year-old male the other day and absolute loved him!

Wow, Jessica.. I woulda Guessed a Rat too! :) And yes, I Love this breed myself! I Have done a lot of research on them. I met a puppy one day.. and held her for like 2 hrs. I Was in LOVE, I wanted to take her home soo Bad! So, I can defently see why!

I love Newfies too, they are so pretty! I once knew a lady who had 6 living in a smaller, modest home. It looked like big black carperts everywhere.

They are great little dogs, aren't they Sarah? They appeal to me so much, I wish they were an AKC recognized breed.

They're different breeds-Ratties are usually larger than TFT, have different overall body conformation.

Aren't they? I ruff 'em. :) I stopped to play with one on Halloween, and he was just the biggest, sweetest baby! His paws were twice the size of my hands (although my hands are kind of tiny), and he was still only a puppy! Gorgeous animals. :D

ahahahaha thats what i love about terriers, they have so much attitude and personality, you cant help but love them, if we had not gotten jengo i was going to get a rat terrier or a jack russel pup, but Jengo has the same amount of energy and attitude so i lucked out lol

Jack Russles are a popular breed here so I figure they must be alright dogs :D
