We got Ringo from a foster rescue home and we think he's about 2-3 years old.
We think he's got some terrier in him and we saw a kelpie with almost the exact same facial markings but he may have other dogs in him as well (a true bitsa :))
I'm pretty sure of the kelpie part because the marking were almost identical but what kind or terrier could he have in him?

I should probably mention that he's quite small. Probably about 10kg and not much more than 1ft off the ground.

Here's an image of a kelpie - you'll see what I mean about his face.

Hard to judge by the picture,
he looks like a smallish dog though?
IMO his head looks Cattle dog ( blue heeler) shape.

I'll go along with the wire-haired JRT especially since he is only about 10 kg.

He is not Shepherd or Collie with the short nose, flopped ears. I would venture to say some Aussie in him along with Terrier, but the longer hair is throwing me off some? Some cattle dog they are not big, some terrier? He is so cute anyhow, who cares, we love them regardless, right?:D

How about one of these, I know your dog is small but the markings look so much alike

The markings on the Bernese mountain dog (especially first link) do look very similar.
Did you see the image of the Kelpie I posted in this thread? They also have very similar facial markings.
He's got a very wiry coat (the photos don't really show just how wiry).
It's entirely possible he has more than 2 dogs in him but I'm really thinking Kelpie/wire-haired JRT - you can see the combo there.

He's stupendously cute - I'm sure there's a law against cuteness to that extent :D. He's a bit of a ham as well - really turns it on for visitors.

Thanks for suggestions people!

Looks for sure like a Jack Russel Terrier, might be some tri Sheltie in it? Nevertheless a very cute dog for sure....adorable.

Perhaps a silky terrier mix.
