There was a thread recently about having a shopping mall where it is ok to bring dogs, well a mall in upstate NY had an event where you could bring your dogs to have their pictures taken with Santa. Too bad there aren't any pics with the news story!
All animals were welcome to visit with St. Nick, but dogs ruled the day, from retrievers to labs to dachshunds. Jennifer and Mark LaBrie brought their two pugs, Max and Malibu, to the event.
“They’re my babies,” Jennifer LaBrie said, “and they deserve to see Santa.”

But I had to laugh when I saw the mall's own web site. They said "domestic pets only please." Makes me wonder what all would have shown up if they allowed all kinds of critters.
