Advice wanted (long)

I have had two mini rat terriers (brother and sister) from about six weeks old. I read and realized after the fact that getting two puppies at the same time was a mistake. Fortunately, my parents like them and just took the boy. She is now almost 13 weeks old.

She is acting very differently now that they are separated (only 1/2 a day). She whimpers if she is not right next to us, even if we are standing. She wants to be held or us laying by her. She is much more easily scared by everything.

I wouldn't mind, but we are both going to work tomorrow and I don't know how she will handle it. I am also worried about her confidence level.

Does anybody know if this is normal, if she will get over it, and if there is anything I can do to help the process? Thank you.

This is very normal for her to have separation anxiety. She has been with him her whole life, which may not seem very long as it was 13 weeks, but it is to them. I cant tell you if or when she will get over it or how to help her, cuz I have not ever had any experience with that. But it is normal.

Yeah, zoe08 is right. She will probably grow out of it. :)
