I Love Shelties

When my hubby and I have babies and they grow up and they want a dog well they are totally getting a sheltie.

Sheltie was my life long bff as a child. I grew up with a boarder collie, standard collie, and sheltie. I'm obsessed with these guys. SO intelligent!

So when I have the big yard and the big kids... where can I find a good sheltie? Anyone from the New England area? (all though I may move BACK down south...)

Now totally confused it was only a Pom Pom Pom and then a Shepherd now Shelties? Do you truly know what your going to invest in as your going to look at buying a new show POM? You must dedicate yourself to one breed unless you hit the lotterly so handle and breed two different kinds. NO offense but I am getting very mixed up on threads your making what you really want to own and breed.? :)

If I had to pick my ideal life style I'd have a freaking farm full of dogs, haha

I want three dogs my boyfriend want children only. So we'll see which happens! haha!

I want to show Poms, then when I'm RETIRED or something I'll probably do breeding as a hobby because I assume by that time if I stay interested I'll have a lot of experience.

When the hubs and I have children I want to have a bigger dog because kids need an active fun dog! I loved growing up with a sheltie and I was wondering if there are good resources around here for that too. My mom is also looking for a new pup... our sheltie meeko is very ill :(

I'm only 21 I've got plenty of time to fit it all in! :)
