Does anyone have this breed? I just recently adopted Dita from the kennel. I think she's part dobie maybe but she can howl! And walking is with the nose to the ground. Just love her. She is a very sweet girl

Oh yeah, I have one. His name is Coal and I am probably always going to own Coonhounds, they are just the best dogs. I bought him from a farm about 2yrs ago. I only met his mom and she was a Redbone, but Coal is black as well, so I'm thinking he's just a mix of Redbone and Black/Tan, his colours are identical to that of a Rottie.
*Edit*
I just looked at the picture in full. I would say she only looks maybe 10% Coonhound. Coal and all the other pictures of Coonhounds are way different than her. Coal's snout is much larger and more rectanglish, as well his ears a WAYYYY longer than her's. And what happened to her tail? Personally I don't think anyone should crop a hound's tail, it just doesn't seem right (of course there are some that think that about all dogs). I've never seen a Doberman that hasn't had their ears done up, but maybe that's what they look like? I'll post a picture of Coal (and my other baby) when I get home this morning.
How tall is she?

Dita looks like a purebred dobe to me. Here's the information and a photo of a black and tan coonhound and there's little resemblance other than color. Look at those ears and the head! And the tail wouldn't be cropped.

Well originaly we wanted a Dobie. Have had those and just love them. Dita is a pound puppy so have NO idea. I wanted a Dobie with a docked tail. I know hounds have tails but of course I had no say so in the matter. Dobies with tails I think are ugly but anyway whoever did this "REALLY" got a little to close I think. To wag she has to shake the booty. Her ears are a little big for a Dobie. I've had un cropped ears on dobies and they are ok but these are a bit big. Anyway we lover her.

Dita is lovely! And I think that if what you wanted was a Dobie with an uncropped tail, that's what you got! The snout looks all Dobe to me. :D It could be that if her ears are bigger than expected she may just be a Dobe that does not meet the exact breed standard, but she could still be a purebred.
Lovely, lovey girl!

Are those both photos of the same dog? The ears look much longer in the second photo and the foreface is different. Or is it just the angle?
From the first photo I'd guess purebred dobie. From the second photo I'd guess mostly dobie.
