New Member getting forum emails?

How do I set my profile to NOT send an email each time someone replies to the "I am new" thread?

I think I figured it out. When you post a new thread there is an email notification at the bottom. I need to mark it 'do not subscibe' on each post. I will dink around in the user CP to see if I can permanently mark this.

techie, if you visit your "User CP" and look under "options" find the section that says "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and make sure you have selected "do not subscribe." That should stop the flood in the future. :)
