There are still people out there who do right by animals and I think this gal is one of them. She doesn't have much money herself, but when she heard about a little mix who was in trouble because of an injured leg, she stepped up to the plate to give the little guy a second chance.

What a wonderful story, even after all that little puppy has been through he is still smiling aww, hopefully people will donate to cover the cost of the vets bill. That lady deserves a medal.

The friends were told Tanner had injured his leg after it got wrapped in his mother's chain, and the family had no plans to fix it,

How disgusting. The poor puppy was suffering yet the breeders had no plans to take him to the vet. I also doubt the story that he got tangled up in his mother's collar. More like someone kicked or threw him to do damage like that:mad:

I sincerely hope these people are prosecuted for failing to provide veterinary treatment for the poor little pup. So they were just going to let him suffer like that and let the leg turn gangrenous:mad: People like them should be shot:mad:

Well done to the couple who have rescued him. I really hope the little chap makes a full recovery and things turn out well for his rescuers.

Wow! Shannon Larson is a really nice person! And I agree with Python! Why didn't the owners of Tanner help him?! It's their dog so they should be the one trying to help him! Not Shannon who's being really generous and lost a whole bunch of money doing something that the owners should be doing! I would give Shannon Tanner since she's the one that's taking care of him! And it is disgusting! Well, I hope Tanner's going to be okay. And great story, but I'm still disgusted about how the owners of Tanner didn't help him! Well, thanks for sharing! (And Tanner is such a cutie! His arms are so chuubby! *squeal* Just like Brownie's!)
