Helen and Baxter

Hiya everyone
my name is helen i am 28 i live in a place called newton le willows inbetween liverpool and manchester, i have a soon to be 4 year old cavalier king charles spaniel called baxter, he is my baby and he know it and fully uses it to his advantage bless him, he has a bad back though his last 2 discs before his tail have disintigrated a bit so he is not allowed to put even 1 ounce of fat on if he does he cant walk at all!
anyway thats us just thought id introduce myself i have already posted asking for advice thought id jump straight in!

Have you tried Hydrotherapy for Baxer's disk problems? It worked for my little dachie when he slipped a disk and went of his legs.

I'm sorry to hear that little Baxter has back troubles. Bless you for taking good care of him and keeping the weight off him, every little bit helps. :)

thanks for the welcome we have thought about hydrotherapy the vet will refer us so we can get it on the insurance if we need it but they seem happy that with the walking and physio they showed me for his back is enough at the moment, i think i might try and get them to let me do it in the summer because he loves water and i think when its hot being a fluffy little monster it cools him down as well!
