Well maybe the most difficult thing to master and yet doing is no mouse!! Using a finger to control that arrow is hardest thing, but getting to it now and love it!!!

It is fast to load, download programs. I am so glad I got an Acer, good brand since 1979. That is a good record of being in business even if out a time, coming back in and perfecting maybe mistakes? They sure fixed things up and reasonable I might add.

I have a huge keyboard, learning the HOT KEYS NOW!! I can transfer files in minutes from the Dell. Do not think I will all my photos or Documents as I am just taking this outside on deck, backyard to and from places in the auto. The degrees must be just right, not getting it damp from humidy, heat or cold.

It has a huge screen of 17 inches, it is not heavy, nice to see, I can brighten the screen or set it down lower. So much to learn and do to make it even nicer. It is sooo fast!! I have about all I want downloaded it and never fazed it at all. It downloads so fast, just watching it is fun!!!

I recommend it to anybody wanting a good notebook and not paying your entire bank account or running the credit card to the hilt.!! I never touched my account and credit card has lots more to buy like maybe a case now??? Hmmmmm well shall see for now we are inside moving about and having a ball!!!

Always wanted a lap top, never had instrusted full tilt into one, now my business is with me if in bedroom, kitchen, living room or computer room. It is like my best friend now!!!

Learning all the keys is like going back to school, lol. Very touchy keyboard, but I am getting the hang of all things, soooo much fun, soooo fast.!! I need now to download my soft ward for my HD Digital Camcorder, I am ready for business, make videos and unload to show all on you tube or othewise.

A good thing I found to sit it on making it very comfortable without using my kitchen table I use my kitchen alot. It is using my wooden T.V. trays!!! Works great as one can be moved easily room to room. Also, outside when weather breaks.

I need to load address book into it yet. Just like a kid with a new toy I am. Anybody need to ask about it, shoot away. Do my best to answer questions if interested in it. I never would recommend a Dell or Gateway. Now, the battery left unplugged lasts some 3 hours. I am going to get a longer life one of about 150.00 but no need for that now. Just wanted to check in on some that thought they might want to know and start researching lap tops, this is a great one. Customer support is outstanding.

We did need to get a $100.00 wireless hub for all the computers. It took a time to get them fixed up to it running good. We are not computer tecks, lol. But, sure learning alot lately. Happy Happy....:)

Sounds like you are having fun with it and like it was a good deal. I'm not thrilled with Dell or Gateway either, but I've heard good things about Acer. It's good to hear that their customer support is good, that can be very important!

Thanks Skunky and Borzoi's, it is a risk chancing buying the net, but I trust QVC shopping, they stand behind what they sale and I got a 3 year warranty on the Lap top.

It is different and maybe a fad for me, but I am sure as much as I sit out in nice weather I will have it by me.? It is nice bright screan, large to carry so not going far, but I am enjoying the speed, sounds of Dolby Surround and just having some fun for once.

Still baking though, love my sweets. Went to docter, all my blood work was not in, so do not know if colerestral is up or not. No weight gain from all the fudge I have made and ate, ha ha.

I'm glad to hear you like your laptop. The one I have at work I'm able to plug in a mouse which I can use to do my drawings. Once the moluse wasn't plugged in and I just used the finger pad...bad idea. But it is so hard to get use to using my desktop after using the laptop.

I really want to get a laptop. I'm always wanting to watch t.v. while working on the computer. Just don't have the cash to get one right now.

I just got my new one! I went to Costco and they had some new Sony laptops in stock, and they had a higher spec than the other Sonys' they had available but for the same price. So yeah I picked one up.
