View Full Version : What's his mix?
I posted a while back when I first got my puppy, but his appearance has changed somewhat. He's about 11 months old now and we're still trying to figure out his mix. He's about 50 pounds, somewhat high energy (but I've seen worse)-- loves to play tug w/rope and sticks; he plays soccer with a stick in his mouth, so he bats the ball with his paws (It's very cute) and enjoys playing with our cat- he swats at the cat just like the cat swats at him! Here's some pics:

I think perhaps a bit of staffie and a bit of greyhound/and/or whippet.
No matter what lovely dog with a super shiny coat and a wet nose and a lovely expression.

Hard to say- I've seen pictures of a three-way mix (German Shepherd, Lab and Border Collie) that looked very similar. He sounds like a lot of fun.:)

I see greyhound for sure and possibly border collie rather than lab. Mostly greyhound though.
The only thing I see that even faintly resembles a lab is the black coloring.

Well, I agree with vixen, I see lab/greyhound! But otherwise, he's a very lovely dog!
My husband and I have guessed lab/boxer/pit. Alot of people say greyhound, but I think his body shape is more like a boxer. When people ask we say that he's our American Mutt Terrier!
I would have imagined boxer / lab / pit to be a little heavier boned - I am going to agree with Applesmom's guess.
Edited to add that he is extremely cute regardless!
