Im moving away to the Isle of Wight to work at an outdoor pursuit centre on tuesday, I dont think Ill have much internet access on site, and I know I wont have much free time!

I just wanted to say thankyou to everyone on the forum, for keeping me sane whilst Ive been home, for providing such interesting discussions, and for giving me much needed advice with regards to mad Cai!


Ill miss speaking to people who are also dog mad, and Ill also miss Cai as he will be staying with my parents, this is his home.

I know he will be loved and spoilt, and well looked after. I think the things I will miss most is walking into my new accommodation without the welcome party I get from Cai when I get home, Ill miss the fact that he keeps my secrets and thoughts to himslef, and Ill miss having a companion who is always willing, no matter what time, weather or day, to come out with me for a walk and make me smile. Ill miss my cat, keeping my feet warm at night! Ill definatley miss my gorgeous boy, my family, and the rest of my zoo, and the oppertunity to talk to other dog orientated people!

Thank you for being so upbeat and letting us share with your news and love for Cai. Best wishes that you make new friends (there are certainly dog lovers on the Isle of Wight too! )

Hope it all goes well for you. When you are lonely or homesick. Just get out the Burns book and have a read and I'm sure this will help.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes, and its untill November then Im coming home again. My parents have promised to bring Cai down for his holidays in the summer so I will see him beofre then, I just took him out for my last walk and splash around in the river with him before I go :(
