Hi All, hope you are well!
I'm going away on holiday to India this weekend and wondered if anyone could recomend any good fiction books which have a nice story about dogs as companions with thier masters, or any good touching books about the relationships? I just really miss Prince and feel like reading a book where i can relate to my relationship with him :(

India, that sounds exciting!
Here's a fictional mystery book about a detective dog

And if you haven't read "Marley and Me" you might enjoy it. It was a best seller in the US.

These are just some of the ones I have enjoyed:
'My Life With George'
'Marley & Me' ,
'Walking Ollie',
'From Baghdad With Love'
'A dog in a million'
And I want to read 'Second Chance' and 'Born to Run'. Sorry I didn't put all the authors, can't remember them, but if you put the titles into Amazon, they will come up.

Hey all, hope you are well, i just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion of the books, i bought "A friend like Henry" and i cried. it's such an emotional book, and although i am a tough person, i couldn't help but bawl when i read the ending, it is really touching
i will be buying the rest to read those too :)

I found another one on my vacation, "The Dogs of Babel." It gets very strange at the end but you might enjoy it.
