Hotel drinking glasses - what you didn't know

A "friend" sent me this in an email - bleechhhh! Thanks a LOT is all I can say! I always thought they washed them in the kitchen dishwasher. You may never drink out of those glasses again. :sicksmiley: And this is in "nice" hotels too!

Wow. I don't travel, much, but now that I'm immuno-compromised, I'll definitely be self-contained!

YIKES!! Ya know I am always finding dirty forks, spoons, etc. I make the go back for new ones, took 3 sets once to get a clean on in local Kings.

I will not drink from a glass or pop can, use straws. I know resturants are dirty, half done dishes and workers. It is a wonder we all do not get very ill.?

Another reason I like to eat at home and eat my own cooking, baking, etc. lol.:)

I will definitly think next time before using the cups in a hotel room unless they are one use plastic cups, could you imagine they wash out the plastic cups and reuse them as well LOL:pwhat some people will do to save a buck:mad:

I read this just after staying in a motel. I'm glad to find the cups wrapped in plastic. I usually bring a bottled water and only use the plastic cups for brushing my teeth.
