This is amazing. This kid not only has a love of animals, she completed an online degree as a veterinary assistant at the age of ten. Make you wonder what she'll do when she's grown up!
OLYMPIA - Veterinarians at a local clinic are amazed that one of their assistants can do the work she's doing, given her unique situation.

Ten-year-old Courtney Oliver just completed her college work for this occupation. She now holds an on-line certification as a veterinary assistant. In eight months, Courtney had the same certification as her adult co-workers.

Courtney says she knew early in life this is what she wanted to do.

Good for her!

Sounds like that little girl has the world by the tail on a downhill pull.

She's likely to finish vet school by the time she's 15 and be a renowned expert in the field of veterinary medicine by the time she's 25. :)

I have seen that on our news daily now. She has to have her mom with her when she performs anything on an animal.

Such great intelligence put to a great cause. Gosh, hope she is a vet as 10 years doing what she is now, she will excell as a good vet, we sure need them. She loves her work also....:)
