Pellow got a First in the Post Graduate Breed Class today
and Rye came 2nd in The Open Breed Class

For example, now that your boys have come in first and second; does that place them higher in the standings than other Borzoi entrants?

Hi Elyse Your petting and hugs duly passed on and the boys send you big slobbery licks straight back.

No these wins were only gained at limited and Open shows To qualify for Crufts you have to be placed 1st 2nd or 3rd at a Championship show,but no matter how many times you qualify it would not place them any higher in the standings. It would be up to the judge to judge the dogs as she sees them on the day.

I am not holding my breath, don't really expect to get anything at Crufts, but we really enjoy the socialising and the shopping and if we do win it will be a real bonus.

I agree it is awesome,but my poor feet and legs just can't stand the pace.
It would be great if I go visit on all four days ,one for showing and the other three for shopping,but my O/H would be confiscating my bits of plastic after day one LOL

You had asked once if I might like to be the judge one time, I would love it. I used to judge horse shows alot of weekends when I was not showing. I always explained why I placed who to what spot and how to better themselves. ha ha. Your too good and so are the dogs, they would get alot of firsts!!:)
