Dog cruelty

i av ad my staff for 5years and he is a rescue dog. wen i took him the day after i got him 4 a vet check ,the vet found broken teeth, 6 healed puncture wound under neath him, skinney as a rake , wet himself if a man or other dog came near him and he ad a choke chain so tight round his neck my husband ad 2 cut it off( and they get the bad press) . I would like to no how people can do this to animals and why they get away with it all the time in america they really cum down hard on animal cruelty so why dont they do the same here. it took along time to sort my dog out , and i hope who ever did this to him suffer for it at sum point, WOT DO OTHER FORUM DOG OWNERS THINK?

I don't know the laws in your area, but surely it is illegal to mistreat an animal this way? And if they know who did it then the person was punished? Bless you for giving that poor dog a good home!

I'm sorry to hear about what your staffy had to go through, but so happy to hear that you found him before it was too late.

I love hearing stories about what great dogs shelter or rescue dogs make, I just wish more people just looking for a pet gave them a chance just like you did.

That angers me so badly if I ever caught anybody doing that I just might kill the person or make him suffer like he did the poor dog.

I have a bad temper when somebody sets me off with animals, that is just darn right inhumane and he should be strung up!!! I detest people that torture animals mostly for the shear fun of it.

I am so sorry that poor dog went through this and God Bless You for Saving the Dog honey. One day you will be rewarded for great things your doing. Take care and love him to all u have, he needs it....:):)

i agree i dont think the laws in this country are tough enough and think that ppl willfully neglect their dogs or show out right cruelty should be delt with in the same way as parents who neglect or are cruel to their children.
i would say alot more about the ppl that do this to animals but i wouldnt be allowed to say the kind of stuff im thinking on here.
