please i need help!!!. there was an add in the paper about a pure bred jack russel. the lady came around and we got the dog. everything has been going great until we went to the vets today. the guy said that he has his suspisions that it is not a jack russel but its more like a mini foxie, im praying that we did not get ripped off and that he is a jack russel. i thought i would post pictures of him and hope that people on here can help me!!!!!!!.

Thank you for your time

Jeremy

He's beautiful either way, if you are happy with your pup money isn't that big a deal anyway.

I don't know what the situation with JRTs is like where you live, but where I am from they are dime a dozen, often given away free and fox terriers are rare (and more expensive). So, I wouldn't say you got 'ripped off' if you've got a foxie instead anyway!

Good luck with your beautiful new puppy!

Hi Jeremy and welcome to the forum. I'm curious why your vet thinks the pup is not a purebred Jack Russell? The breed standard is not that tight. You can see a lot of pictures of Jack Russells here. But like Dauxside, Melamaphine and Vixen said, you've a cute pup!

You can't put a price on love of a great dog.

You will probably have to wait until it's fully grown to know for sure.
