View Full Version : Whats my Mickey?!
Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to help me identify what breeds could be in Mickey. The vet seemed to think that Mickey was 3/4 blue merle collie, Which makes sense because of his markings and his herding traits. So does anyone else have any othr ideas about what else he might be? Some people have said they think he has husky in him but I don't see it, Just because of his eye but they don't realise his eyes are a blue merle trait too! lol
Any help would be appriciated :)

I'll be the oddman out. I don't see the BC. Almost looks like some kind of sighthound with the lean build, and he seems to be up on his toes. Definitely no Husky. Stunning dog, though!
Can we get a weight and maybe a profile of the snout?

Yes- Skunk,I agree...but I would put my money on 3/4 BC, 1/4 Lurcher :)

probably an aussie mix husky or even GSD but could also defiantly be a border collie mix too

Thanks for all the compliments about him, Can you believe he was in the rescue centre? Maddness!
Anyway his weight is about 22kg and I've attached a photo of his snowt lol, It looks small though on the photo. He does have a double coat (I think) around his shoulders whereas the rest of him isn't as thick.
I'm not sure where the lurcher is coming from, Can some one expand on this? It's just lurchers are huge, Like greyhounds and Mickey is an average medium dog size.. Is this just from how he stands?
