Hi im new and just looking to see if there is anyone else here owned by this breed? I have a 4 year old white male named Sky who got as a puppy from a awesome breeder. I have admired the breed since I was little and always wanted one. I will admit I had a stuffed Spuds Mackenzie and that was my original reason for wanting the breed. As I got older I researched the breed more in depth and even met a few owners and breeders just to learn more about the breed.
I grew up with Dobermans and knew I could handle a English Bull Terrier. And eventually I found a awesome breeder and eventually brought home a baby Sky. I personally love the breed and can't imagine not having one in my life. I plan to always have atleast one EBT in my life :).

Do you mean an English Bulldog? If so I owned one some years back, she lived to be near 11 yrs old. If not, I never owned the terrier type or a Dobe, have had many breeds however. :)

When our staffie had to be put to sleep we went to our local shelter and fostered and english bull terrier as we had never owened this breed before. He turned out to be a little more than we could handle and we had to take him back but know he was rehomed with no problems.
If he had been trained as a pup im sure he would have been a great dog.
We now have a staffie named Harley that we rescued and he has settled in great.
Not a great pic5170

Ohh you call them English Bullterrier? cool, In sweden we just simply call them bullterrier or people confused them with english staffordshire bullterrier, both are popular in Sweden. I have not owned one, but I did look into it, they are the funniest dogs. Such clowns, however, after looking into it, sitting one for a week, hanging with a few breeders and people having them I felt that they are not the dog for me. I adore them, but their stubborness is sometimes WAY to frustrating.
I knew one, when he did something he shouldn't be doing and the owners told him NO, bad dog, then he always went to a corner of their house... he just sat there, staring straight into the wall. REfusing to move or comunicate.
One day the female owner heard something weird, so she went into the kitchen and there sits the dog, face into the corner and sings for himself, oooOOOooo he sits there and make all different kind of doggie sounds into the wall just for himself. So I love them, but I rather borrow them than owe them.. ;)

I will put pics of our little boy once we get them. He is just a baby, we won't get to see him for a week or so.

Here is a better pic of the English Bull terrier we fostered if only we had him as a pup im sure he would have been great.
He would bounce around like a bucking bronco and rag anything in sight it was scary really.
He would bite all the time too not hard but not something we wanted to risk as my partner has an 8 yr old.
