Attached is a VERY rough mockup we made for the new design. We wanted to stop here in order to get some feedback from everyone :D
Please ignore the text in this mockup - it will make no sense for this forum - it's just "filler" text.
The logo is just a placeholder too.
But please do let us know your honest thoughts :)

Thanks very much for the feedback so far. Any more before we continue to move forward with this?
I think it's very visually appealing and looks like it would be easy to navigate, I like it!

Looks good, but I still prefer the old DogForum.org printing with the kennel.

The thing I like most about it is the cleaner look without the clutter and distraction of so many pictures.

Hey,
It looks really cool, but I feel that it has a less.... "Homey" feel to it. Lol, I guess I am just used to the one now:)

I like the look of the proposed new layout of Dog Forums but I do hope that you'll keep the excellent Gallery and Blogs! When will the layout be changed to the new one?
Keep up your great work with manning the best dog forum on the web! I really enjoy being a member because everybody is so friendly and willing to help!

Just keep going, great job and it is appealing to the eye, catchy and we want that. Layout is good, keep what we had and more. Do not hurry, it is going to be a great forum....:)

Absolutely! We have no plans to remove the gallery or blogs. The changes will largely be cosmetic, though some new features will become available when the new version of the forum software is released (may or may not coincide with the layout change).
