How about a Funny but True Pittiful Story!

One of the dogs that owns me is Pearl the Pitty. I would like to know if anyone else out there with a spayed female pitty has experienced this horrifying event that seems to happen twice a year.
Signs and Symptoms: First I notice her leaning on me more than normal, then on the couch when she walks on and over me, she stops and gives me that freaky, horny pitbull look. If I am quick I can distract her with her stuffed, pink, piggy. But if I miss the warning signs, she will get a hold of my arm or leg, my only hope at this time is to wrestle her off or else you know what happens, just like the Pitty joke says, "What do you do when a Pittbull humps you leg?" Well you just wait until they are finished.


I have solved the leg humping though. I found a buoy floating in the water last week and brought it home as a toy for my Male Dobie Stormy. He did not like it, but the Pitty Pearl did. In fact she LOVED it, if you know what I mean. My friends, after they get over the site of this disgusting, strange love between Pearl and her buoy say I should tape it and send it off to Utube. LOL
And I have been thinking as a joke, to phone my Vet clinic and make an appointment to bring in a 4 year old spayed female Pittbull to be neutered. I know that my Vet would get a real good laugh out of it.

Oh what a pic that is! A close friend of mine has a spayed female pit and while she has never humped me, she will climb up into my lap, up to my shoulders, hold my head with her front paws and lick me to death. Only once in a blue moon will she do this to me but when she decides to, there is no stopping her. And while I'm sure such behavior would turn off some people, I almost pee my pants from laughing so hard. You just kind of absolve yourself to it. She is one strong dog!! The funniest part of all is how she weasles her way up my body. She is very well behaved for the most part and she will sit sweetly in between my legs and stare at me. Then I get the paw on my leg, then the other one and she literally CLIMBS me, she does not jump into my lap, she climbs my body like a tree.

I guess I'm not familiar with all this. I've had both spayed and intact females and never had them hump me.

I've also never heard this.

just like the Pitty joke says, "What do you do when a Pittbull humps you leg?" Well you just wait until they are finished.

I'd have to say you train them that you don't want them mounting or humping you.

Humping can also be done out of compulsion or dominance.

But this is a FUNNY story! The joke is a joke! Pitty Pearl is a well behaved girl who occasionally likes to hump her toy. Pittbulls are the clowns of the dog world, she cracks me up everyday with all her antics.

Oh no you didn't offend, guess I just don't have a sense of humor for it myself, I'm sure it is funny to some. I only had one which tried to mount my leg and that doesn't happen anymore. The fact of the buoy and the picture is a bit humorous. I've owned APBTs for years and been around literally thousands and I'd never heard the joke from anyone else. Sorry I didn't know of it. They are certainly clowns in many ways, as if it's one of their goals in life to bring laughter. :D Do you have any other pics of her? None humping ones? Sorry if you have posted before if so I must have missed them.

my dog Simba does exactly the same! She humps a swiss exercise ball that we keep in our house (not for this purpose). She goes nuts, it's quite disturbing! She's not a pit bull, she's a collie but the behaviour is identical. My OH's mother has a female staffy called Shabba and recently Simba got so randy that she mounted poor Shabs. Unfortunately she got it the wrong way round and mounted her face :eek:. Luckily Shabba is very patient with Simba and no fights got started!

That is so funny but of all the dogs I have owned or adoped me, only a Boston did this to my pillows, i had to rid of any pillows laying about. I do not like it, but your story is funny and humurous. lol.:)
