Has anyone ever tried this? or know anyone that has? I found some really cool rollerskis online today...it's kinda like rollerblading and skiing mixed into one. I was thinking of investing in a pair (they're not cheap to say the least) and get Tikaani ready for this winter so I can take her to some training classes to learn to skijor. I've still got to buy nordic skis for this too, ugh...b/c my skis are alpine and thus metal edged and not recommended for the sport b/c they could injure the dog. Anyhow, just wondering if it's worth the investment. I've read it's a good way to keep both dog and trainer in shape.

Also, wondering if anyone has any suggestions for training trail running? Tikaani loves to hike but she never stays on trail. She runs up and down the hills on either side of the trail and if I ever take her out trail running on any aperatus I'm afraid she'll kill me by running me into something off trail. Anyone have any experience w/ training for trails?

Last question...anyone ever dogscootered? You can google dogscooter and get the website for it. This would be an alternative to rollerskiing but the decent scooters for adults aren't cheap either. Wondering though which might be better.

Pictures of me on my butt? Or after Tikaani has run me into a tree off-trail?

I'm thinking I might go the scooter route.

Anyone ever used a dog cart?
