Ingredients
1 cup unbleached white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup natural applesauce
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
Directions
In a small bowl, blend the two flours together. Add the applesauce and mix until well blended. Add the peanut butter and mix until it forms a thick batter. Spray a cookie sheet with some nonstick cooking spray. Drop the batter onto the tray and form into fun shapes, if desired. Pre-heat the oven to 350 F, and bake for 15 minutes.
For very soft, chewy treats, remove the tray from the oven after 15 minutes and let cool for a while. For crunchy treats, turn the oven off and let the snacks remain in the oven for a few hours.

My dog just loves these treats, and they're easy enough to make every day. This recipe makes 12 to 14 treats. I form the batter into dog-bone and peanut shapes, but you can also use cookie cutters. They are healthy for your dog, but they are made from human-grade ingredients... so you can try them too!
Enjoy this recipe!
