So my friend ANna really wants her own dog, and they want an English Bulldog.. So my husband said that when Midnight moves out they are green on getting a puppy.

They are good with dogs in average, they will have me helping them teaching the dog and doing the socialization etc (I will show them how to and they will do it themselves).

So if anyone could recomend good English BUlldog breeder in NY area, they don't mind travel a bit either for the right dog so start linking please..

Oh and this is a compromise since they can't have Missy... *lol*

Do they know that some dogs of this breed can be so lazy they will wet the bed instead of getting out, I only know this because someone I know wanted one and a shelter said that they can do this.

I have never heard of that, it doesnt sound sane in my ears.. That gotta be one fat bulldog in that case. I can not see any healthy dog do that...

What a complete pile of nonsense!

actually I can see that happen IF the dog has been so misstreated that it's too fat to move.. BUT anyone who lets a bulldog reach that state shouldn't have one...

I can not belive that a properly breed bulldog would do anything of that sort...

But GOD what a jungle of breeders out there, I have turned to the Swedish English bulldog club to see if they have any american recomendations cause I know a lot of them and know they would only recomend puppies from sound selfbirthing parents..

Aaaw, :)
I like the look of bulldogs, I met one called Winston when Portsmouth FC brought the FA cup to southsea common. Loads of dogs wearing football scarfs and shirts and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Cant reccommend any american breeders as Im in the UK, but nice choice of breed. Beautiful dogs :)

Thats what the rescue said, if you follow this link, if it works it says it in one of the questions, but it is a different rescue.
