I have always given my dog his pills wrapped in cheese. Is cheese a good food for dogs. The one I give him is the good cheddar.
How about peanut butter? Is it also good for dogs. Do you use these things too?

To get them to eat pills I use blue cheese. It stinks, they love it, and you could hide ANYTHING in tHere! Plus you can squish it around the pill. No reason why not!

Dogs love cheese and peanut butter, yugurt, but use cottage cheese in moderation if any salt is not to be included in the pets diet for it has alot of salt in it.
I stick a pill in a tiny piece of hot dog and they frump it up so quickly. Peanut butter and cheese is good in KONG toys fill the hole and freeze over night and WALLA they will have hours of fun trying to clean it out.:D :D

I sometimes use bits of cheese sticks for training.

I use cheese as a 'high value' treat along with pieces of sausage. It's used either when I'm teaching them something new, or for instance out of the blue for a good recall etc.
Everything in moderation though - dairy products are not too good for them, so tiny pieces and on special occasions!

Shame Jake loves cheese but can't have it - so he gets carrot sticks (which he loves) and fish treats
All my previous dogs have loved cheese
