Posting pictures?

How do you post a picture on the side where they have when you joined etc.?

How do I get a picture on the side and like a slide show at the bottom and a signature picture? I know I ask too many questions, sorry.

I give up!!I tried to create an album, signature anything to post pictures and it just does not work. I'm removing all pictures that did come on and I won't bother you or anyone again.
