Hi

I have had lucy my 15 month old Bitch since 8 weeks, well her parents gave birth again this year and............................................... .................................................. ................Well i just could not resist.
Lucy is a very obedient girl and very loving so this week her brother 1 year later (iE...only 8 Weeks old) comes to home.
Lucy is Black with a bit of chocolate on her legs and a bit around her face but ( not sure of his name yet , i always let their character make me decide) he is a Black and Tan:)

But everyone says 'TWO PATTERDALES ARE YOU MAD':wtf:.
I guess i must be:eek::D

OMG yes you are off your head!!! Nellie is a handful all on her own, and she is only 11 months!

Having said that, I would LOVE a second dog, although I would be tempted to go for a border terrier rather than another patterdale (just to keep the peace haha).

Love Lucy's ears BTW, Nellie always has one up one down.........

I would not say your crazy or nuts, we all have some nutty in us when it comes to dogs, least I do?

I think you feel you can handle the situation and the forum is here that knows the breed to advise, so go for it. If it is in your heart to do this do not let anybody change your mind. I would not do so for myself, I buy what I need and want, go man....:)

She is quite unigue in the Ears department. Even a 25 year experienced Vet had never seen it on a Patterdale.

She has lots of nicknames by other dog walkers.

Gremlin..
Bat Lady
Bearded Lady.
Yoda.

Some quite funny ones there:D

Hahaha, Nellie was known as Stripe (head bad Gremlin) for a while too - mainly because of her savage nature as a pup, and her little white beard! When dog walkers ask me her name I have to think about it, as she has so many nicknames. We tend to call her Squeak (she squeaks madly when she greets you) or Spider (think that was something to do with Spider-pig from the Simpsons).

If I walk her into town people do stop and ask me what breed she is....the Patterdale is not so common down our end of the country is it. Although the local gamekeeper owns one......

2 that is nothing right? I know people with several and I know a couple breeders. They are awesome little dogs. I will vote for you are a cool person with cool dogs! You are not mad or insane. One day I will have a Patterdale myself I'm sure.
