Hi all..New to forum...This seems like it will become a great forum- nice layout and pops up first on my search engine!
For those of you who may have read a few my posts, I'm really not an argumentative person. Sometimes it's frustrating when new dog owners come to a place where they are seeking answers to improve their dogs behavior, and they are given misinformation. I really do play well with others!
Enough of defending my posts...
My name is Leslie. I live in southern CA with two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Jasmine and Indy. I adore my pups, but have been dealing with some aggression issues as of late with my rescue Indy. Grrrr....
Looking forward to "meeting" you all, and both sharing and getting information!

Welcome to the forums. :)

Please just try to remember that tone does not translate well into text and that the membership as a whole is going to have greatly varying levels of experience with dogs and different levels of communication skills. It defintiely takes two (or more) to get into a scuffle in a thread, and although there will be a certain amount of growing pains as the community develops its own unique personality, all parties will be repremanded for that kind of behavior as the site develops. (just a general note to all members who read this)

So anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Your point noted and understood. As one who does not like conflict, I normally stay out of such discussions. I feel as a dog lover, it would be a disservice to idly sit back while novice dog owners (who genuinely want help) receive bogus advice. I will always try to be respectful and understanding, and would never resort to name calling.
