Just looked like sheep chasing to me. If my dog was doing that someone would have shoot it.

I was wondering about that but since I know nothing about herding dogs I didn't dare say it. I do know that either one of mine would have reacted differently - Sophia would have tried to make friends with them, and Zircon would have stood a few feet away barking his head off. :D

I didn't watch all of it. I am on too slow...Looks like he has potential as a good herder. Not that I know much about it!

He's not just chasing. He was doing some good puppy herding there. :) At 15 weeks, the herding instinct isn't usually on-line, so I understand. They usually put puppies on sheep at six months to see if the dog has herding instinct. This pup does. While he doesn't quite have a clue what to do yet, he was trying doing a fine job for a 15 week old boy, and if his owners are hopeful for a herder, it looks like they have one. :)

I am learning to herd sheep with Moss and she is coming up to 3 years old. They will start a pup with an older dog (s) but don't start training them seriously at that age. To me it looked like the dog had potential, she didn't race into them and scatter them and she was bold enough to keep behind them on her own.
And weren't they sooo sweet...
