Hi, just wondered if anyone else had problems tonight.
I tried getting in on two different search engines, safari and firefox. When I got in the pages wouldn't load.
Was it my side or your site?
Thanks

For the last couple of days I've experienced periods of extremely slow loading time on this site only. The pages eventually come up while I fiddle around playing a game.:(

Even when it does eventually load, after I've been for a 10 mile jog, fed the dog, cleaned out the chickens! The scroll bar doesn't load - so I can only see half of the site - the bit that loads initially/
I'm on Firefox and its working OK, hope I haven't jinxed it now though.

Phew thank goodness for this thread. I thought it was my Set Top Box at fault :) I too had loading problems at around 20:00 and it was still like that at 21:30. I thought it was because my Tv internet system doesn't have a lot of cache space, so I cleared the cache and did a reboot and still the same problem Dogforum logo would load along with the top row tabs but no topics/threads, Could the site have been under attack from Spammers/Hackers? Update: @23:15 it's still taking ages for posts/editing/replys to load the on screen. It's server related and not any ones computers or my Tv internet system.

That would be 2000-2200 GMT I assume, which makes it 3-5PM EST (GMT-5).
I don't have any inside info but the sister OCN site was down so I'm guessing it's a server problem.

What's a sister OCN site? I've seen that mentioned twice and am a bit stumped.

a problem? Thanks :)

Here's the link.

A couple of OCN members are also members here and vice versa.
There's also a car forum
http://www.carforum.net/
which as of this writing seems ot be running smoothly.

Dave I gather they're working on it. Not much I can do to speed it along.

I had problems last night - 07/27/2008 around 8:30 p.m. Same thing - the page took forever and would only partially load. I couldn't navigate the site at all so I had a glass of wine and went to bed early! Everything seems to be working fine now.

I am running IE7 Iam testing this now @ 10:42 GMT and it's working correctly. It shouldn't matter wether you are running IE or whatever as last nights problem was the sites servers(s) and not member(s) equipment. It's appear to be ok now :)

I have noticed tonight just after 21:00 GMT the forum is playing up again I have tested various topics/threads and it's exactly the same as it was a few nights ago. Any one else notice this tonight? Jean can you let the technical people know please. Thanks :)

I'm having the same problems and it's not my PC or my ISP.
Again, as near as I can tell the techies are aware of it. All we can do is wait. :(
