I wondered as I have been training Moss and myself with an experienced dog handler and it is the most amazing experience. I have more to learn than Moss as it is so instinctive to her! Fantastic!!

Well... ummm, I have a Border Collie who 'works' ... but it's not quite traditional livestock herding. :D That is, unless you count other peoples' dogs at the kennel I work at. ;) Ash herds and plays with the daycare and the boarding dogs. I would love to try him at sheep herding, but can't seem to find any sheep. Both his parents were working dogs, and he shows the flare.

I've got a rough collie and last time she saw a sheep she looked quite confused! but when I was younger I spent a lot of time on my uncle's farm. He keeps sheep and I used to go and help out, he had some wonderful sheepdogs and I learned a lot watching him work them. I'd love to have a go myself one day.
BCs in action doing what they're bred to do is one of the most amazing things I think you can witness. I'd love to see some videos of Moss!

So would I...trouble is that I am too busy handling her to take even a photo! I have taken my camera loads of times and instantly forget about it when we're out there!!
There are commercial places where you can "have a go" using the farm's own dogs.
